Vaadat Charigim will deliver their second album ‘Sinking As A Stone’ on May 5 through Burger Records, with the lead single ‘Ein Li Makom’. It’s a brilliant reverb rocker, already praised by Brooklyn Vegan and Noisey. The Tel-Aviv trio turned heads with their debut LP ‘The World Is Well Lost’, a mix of post punk and shoegaze. Vaadat Charigim emerged from the Israeli rock scene in 2012, with a trilogy of albums planned. Catch them on tour this May (check Facebook for details).

VAADAT CHARIGIM - 'THE WORLD IS WELL LOST'

Back in July we had a listen to Vaadat Charigim (Exceptions Committee) and their single ‘Ze Beseder Lefahed’ (influenced by 80s post punk, psych and shoegaze). Since that time the Tel Aviv trio have released their debut LP ‘The World Is Well Lost’ which has been spruiked by Impose, Spin and KEXP (pick it up @ Anova Music, Burger Records (cassette) & Warm Ratio (vinyl). The second single ‘Odisea’ is a downcast, sloppy rock tune that’s easily loveable – new video below…

VAADAT CHARIGIM - 'THE WORLD IS WELL LOST'

Tel Aviv trio Vaadat Charigim (translates to Exceptions Committee) mix an 80s post punk feel with shoegaze sounds on their debut record ‘The World Is Well Lost’ (out July 20 via Anova Music, Burger Records (cassette) & Warm Ratio (vinyl). Lead single ‘Ze Beseder Lefahed’ (It’s Ok To Be Afraid) has an equally engaging new music video. Sadly, I can’t remember (if ever) I’ve heard a song sung in Hebrew.
