‘Something Like Love’ kicks off Light Fantastic‘s campaign for their debut long player ‘Out Of View’ (available October 7). The reverb heavy, psych-tinged rocker is 100% sunshine. The San Francisco-based collective worked with engineer and guitarist Rex Shelverton (of Tamaryn) for the album. Light Fantastic bridge surf rock with dream pop n’ jangle. Most importantly, there’s great songwriting courtesy of Terry Sowers and his twangy Rickenbacker.

Miserable – ‘Uncontrollable’ [LP Stream]

Stream the new full length ‘Uncontrollable’ by Miserable (out this week via The Native Sound)! The former Whirr vocalist (Kristina Esfandiari) is at her best, it’s a dark and emotional trip. Spin premiered the record, calling it “a nine-track work of dizzying lo-fi sadgaze”. It’s the kinda album you need to be in the mood for to fully appreciate, but impressive regardless.

Father Daughter Records have shared Plush’s new single ‘Sheer Power’. It’s a reverb rocker that starts all dreamy and reflective before kicking the door down with a wall of guitars. Karli (singer/guitarist) tells Fader, “I’ve always wanted to write a song about my sexuality, more so sex specifically and feeling empowered through the act. As a woman, I think that’s extremely important.” ‘Sheer Power’ is lifted from Plush’s forthcoming EP ‘Please’ (out April 19).
