Everything Fades – ‘Black Metallic’ [Catherine Wheel Cover]

Everything Fades have given the Catherine Wheel their own Texan touch on ‘Black Metallic’; the lead track from the ‘Strange Fruits‘ tribute compilation, and their new split single release (available here). The song was originally released on Catherine Wheel’s first full length ‘Ferment’ back in ’92. The Everything Fades version is pretty close to the original, only with more sunken vocals n’ verb! The b-side is a remix of ‘Here’s To A New Tomorrow’, the opener to Everything Fades double EP (released back in April).
