Tearjerker’s take on ‘Sometimes’ is particularly impressive. The initial feel from ‘Loveless‘ is captured with an acoustic guitar, thick bass and vinyl noise for good measure. ‘Sometimes’ throws the vocals at you before departing into thicker textures. The male/female vocal combination does the original justice. It slowly grows in mass and swoons about before moving into a stunning piano led refrain as the vinyl crackles in your ears. Brilliant.

There will be a launch party of sorts at the Toronto Underground Cinema on November 4 – complete with My Bloody Valentine videos, glo-sticks and I’m sure… lots of beer! Massive praise to the artists involved in the tribute, Gold Soundz and of course, the work of My Bloody Valentine!
