‘Blow My Mind’ is straight up fun, sounding somewhere between Weezer and early They Might Be Giants. The simple, sing-a-long quality doesn’t take itself too seriously or aim to be anything but a solid pop tune. Grab it on Thee American Revolution’s debut album ‘Buddha Electrostorm’ released last month via Fire Records. The main man behind the veil is Robert Schneider (The Apples in Stereo frontman). Schneider recently performed some experimental work with Jeff Mangum of Neutral Milk Hotel involving mind controlled synthesizers – yup, seriously.
