The Soft Moon have unveiled a nightmarishly dark new single ‘Total Decay’, its set for release this Halloween! If you like screeching synths, psyched out bass, relentless drums and swirly noise then this will be right up your street! Otherwise you’re sh** out of luck!

The San Francisco post-punk band began their apocalyptic journey in 2009 when lead man Luis Vasquez wrote the singles ‘Breathe the Fire’ and ‘Parallels’. Vasquez grew up in South-eastern California, clearly the simmering heat of The Mojave Desert provides more than enough inspiration!

Following the single releases, Justin Anastasi (bass), Damon Way (drums/keys) and Ron Robinson (media/visuals) joined the fray. Together The Soft Moon recorded their full length debut, released last year on Captured Tracks.

‘Total Decay’ will be released as an EP and launched at The Soft Moon’s headlining show on October 31 at The Independent in San Francisco. Full tour details including The Soft Moon’s Mogwai support slot are below…
