Brooklyn’s Abadabad team up with solo artist Adam Taylor Young for the new indie pop gem ‘Indiana’, destined to be played and played and played. Touted as an open letter to Michael Jackson, lyrically it spills alienation and distance but muscially it’s all sunshine. Loaded with springy 60s reverb and twangy guitars, it’s got me half way to the beach. And I hate the beach!

The ‘Indiana’ single follows a string of solid songwriting in ‘Ashley’, ‘California Birds’ and Abadabad‘s debut ‘Park Slope (I’m Sorry)’. Keen cassette playing folks can pick up these singles on tape via the Makeout Beach split with Stoner Showers through Chill Mega Chill.

Abadabad have managed to cover alot of ground since their debut back in May. At the rate the music keeps flowing out, I would expect ‘Indiana’ to be sitting on a full length album before too long.
