National Screen Service is Mick Harrison of Warkworth, England. He’s the former bass player of Prolapse, a Leicester rock act formed in the early 90s with the aim of being “the most depressing band ever”! Over the past year Mick has posted an assortment of shoegaze-inspired drone and ambient instrumental works, most recently ‘Feathering’. It’s a beautiful tune with a submerged warmth to it. It creates a calming womb-like cacophony (for lack of a better expression)! Check out more at Soundcloud and Bandcamp. Definitely deserves more listens!
