The Soft Moon – 'Want' Friday 02 November, 2012

The Soft Moon

The apocalyptic noise of The Soft Moon is back, musician Luis Vasquez has delivered his second LP ‘Zeros’ via Captured Tracks (November 5 in Europe). The electronic darkness is no less dense than on his 2010 debut, take ‘Want’ for example. The record is drenched in an 80s electronic haze. Moving from post-punk and krautrock and falling headlong into gothic industrial territory a la Skinny Puppy or even later Gary Numan but with less structure. Perhaps less digestible than The Soft Moon’s debut and guaranteed to scare the kids.
