Ever read C.S. Lewis’ ‘Out Of The Silent Planet’? Me neither. Vancouver ‘s Teen Daze has, this month he released ‘A Silent Planet’ (an EP inspired and devoted to the theologian’s writing). ‘It Calls Me Under’ is one of his cosmic creations, following on from the previously released lead track ‘The Harvest’.

The EP is entirely ambient, with ethereal electronic sounds meshed together with sparse vocals.  ‘A Silent Planet’ is a departure for Teen Daze, there’s a more visual, abstract approach at work. The EP plays out like a concept album of sorts, something that’s done less and less these days.
