‘Republique’ is an airy blend of bouncy dream pop, full of samples, electronics and sugary vocals set in a cavernous space. It comes from I Can Chase Dragons! new release ‘Expansion’ which was written half in English, half in Spanish. The solo project is the work of Mexican born Julio Gudiño, who has since relocated to Boston. Be prepared for a diverse listening experience, as I Can Chase Dragons! also dip toes in dancey electro pop for the Spanish single ‘Cuantas Caras‘ (thanks Fernando for the heads up!)
